Today we were posted in KPAS Unit (Kesihatan Pekerjaan dan Alam Sekitar). - Occupational and Environment Health.


KPAS Unit in Kota Star have few activities which are:


1) Hepatitis B vaccination programme for health workers.
2) Sharp Injury Surveillance Programme- Prepare the registry for Sharp Injury Surveillance

3) H  3) Health and Safety Organisation - Conducting meeting

4) Healthy Setting Project - Monitor the progress of a particular project in a district.

                                             Identify area for improvement

                                              Ideas for upgrading a district5) Surveillance on Haze related Diseases -  URTI, Asthma, and Conjunctivitis
6) Flood report - preparation during and post flood and report about the flood.
7) Surveillance of Prison and other Health Centers - they do health checkup in the places mentioned every 6 months.
